SW2 Shake & Wood
Shake & Wood Concentrate

USES: SW2 Shake & Wood renews the color, extends the life, and blocks biological growth on wood products. Shake & Wood is an excellent treatment for use on shake roofs, shingles, wood fencing, decks, siding, greenhouses, benches, gazebos, and similar wood structures.

DIRECTIONS: SW2 Shake & Wood is friendly to apply. First clean the wood's surface of all dirt, vegetation, moss, mildew, algae, and blackened wood. For older wood surfaces, power wash using about 1,500 to 2,000 pounds per square inch of water pressure. Power washing is especially effective in removing biological growth and blackened wood cells from the surface of shake and shingle roofs. Shake & Wood can be applied over surfaces that are still wet from cleaning. SW2 Shake & Wood is a concentrate formula. To make 50 gallons of ready to use product, mix together the following: 5 gallons of SW2 Shake & Wood, 3 quarts of SW5C CedrTint color pigment, and enough water to make 50 gallons. Apply Shake & Wood during dry weather, preferably after at least 2 days without rain. Use a garden type low pressure airless sprayer, a sprinkling can, or a brush to apply. One gallon of Shake & Wood covers about 100 square feet, depending on the texture and dryness of the wood. Apply Shake & Wood uniformly so that the tint will color evenly. Avoid stepping on wet surfaces, as they may be slippery. You can quickly clean up with soap and water after using Shake & Wood. Allow 24 hours for minimum set up time. Shake & Wood should be part of a maintenance program repeated every 3 to 5 years.

SPECIFICATIONS: SW2 Shake & Wood is made from a blend of about 20% potassium salts of fatty acids and about 80% inert ingredients. Maximum VOC is 150 grams per liter.

PACKAGING: SW1 Shake & Wood is available in 5 gallon pails, and 55 gallon drums.
