M630 SilvrShield3
3.0 lb SEBS Fibered Aluminum
USES: M630 SilvrShield3 protects surfaces exposed to the sun's destructive ultraviolet (UV) rays. SilvrShield3 increases the service life of roofs, as well as reduces energy costs by lowering inside building temperatures. SilvrShield3 is compatible with SEBS, APP, and SBS rubber modified asphalts and will adhere to most surfaces including roofing, wood, metal, rubber, plastic, glass, and concrete. SilvrShield3 forms a metallic, reflective shield that protects and beautifies.
DIRECTIONS: New asphalt surfaces shall be allowed to set up a minimum of 90 days prior to applying M630 SilvrShield3. SilvrShield3 is friendly to apply, especially in cool to moderate temperatures. Clean gravel, dirt, vegetation, and debris from the application area. Seal any leaking penetrations and repair all surface fissures with M300 RubrMastic and PolyWeb. Prime the surface to be coated along with any uncoated masonry and new metal with M400 RubrPrime. Use a thick nap roller, medium stiff bristle brush, or low pressure spray equipment to apply SilvrShield3 directly from the container without diluting. Thoroughly stir SilvrShield3 just prior to application, working the aluminum pigment up from the bottom of the container. Apply SilvrShield3 at the rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet.
DESCRIPTION: M630 SilvrShield3 is a 3.0 lb fibered aluminum coating made from 100% oxidized roofing asphalt. SilvrShield3 has been engineered to provide a Class A Fire Rating over most roofing including SEBS built-up roofs. Select raw materials have been formulated to make SilvrShield3 a premium aluminum coating. SilvrShield3 is a patented breakthrough achieved by Fields in SEBS chemistry. The SEBS rubber in SilvrShield3 provides maximum elastic performance against thermal shock, the daily expansion and contraction of a roof caused by temperature changes. SEBS rubber polymers are the only ones known to effectively resist the sun's destructive UV rays that attack the roof membrane making it brittle and weak, inducing membrane ruptures during thermal shock cycles. SilvrShield3 is your best defense against these attacks. With SilvrShield3, your roofing installations will perform much longer. SilvrShield3 is asbestos free.
SEBS RUBBER: The SEBS rubber in M630 SilvrShield provides greater flexibility, lower moisture permeability, greater fatigue resistance, better weathering durability, greater tensile strength, higher temperature stability, and improved resistance to UV rays, ozone attacks, and roof oils.
SPECIFICATIONS: M630 SilvrShield3 exceeds the minimum standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D 2824 Type 3. Maximum VOC 500 grams per liter.
PACKAGING: M630 SilvrShield3 is available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, and bulk.
