F110 PowrLap
Lap Adhesive & Coating

USES: F110 PowrLap seals laps on roll roofing, adheres roofing and waterproofing sheets, and repairs surface breaks. PowrLap can even be applied as a surface coating. PowrLap is compatible with SEBS, APP, and SBS modified bitumen roofing products and will adhere to most surfaces including roofing, wood, metal, glass, and concrete.

DIRECTIONS: F110 PowrLap is friendly to apply, especially in warm temperatures. Apply with a medium stiff bristle brush, a squeegee, or asphalt cutback spray equipment. Warm PowrLap to room temperature for easiest application. Clean gravel, dirt, vegetation, and debris from the application area. Make sure the application surface is smooth, firm, frost-free, and dry. Apply PowrLap directly from the container without diluting. Install Fields roofing and waterproofing sheets with PowrLap. Uniformly apply 5 gallons per 100 square feet of PowrLap as an adhesive under the first roll the full width of the sheet. Set the roll into the PowrLap, making sure it unrolls straight and without any wrinkles. Carefully press the unrolled sheet into the PowrLap by lightly brushing the surface until complete adhesion is achieved. Do not step on the sheets until the PowrLap has set up. Continue installing each successive roll by overlapping the prior sheet 3". For each additional layer, repeat the above process using 4 gallons per 100 square feet of PowrLap in a complete interply application. Center the rolls of each additional layer over the seams of the prior layer. Apply a final surface coating of PowrLap at the rate of 5 gallons per 100 square feet. Make a 3 layer repair with PowrLap and PolyWeb over fissures or to reinforce degraded areas. Refer to the PolyWeb label for installation directions. Generously apply a protective coating with PowrLap at the uniform rate of 5 gallons per 100 square feet. First repair fissures, seal leaking penetrations, fix broken flashings, and reinforce degraded areas. For maximum protection and reduced energy costs, apply M800 RubrStar over the PowrLap. Allow the PowrLap a minimum of 90 days to set up before applying the RubrStar.

DESCRIPTION: F110 PowrLap is a quality asphalt adhesive and coating manufactured from 100% oxidized roofing asphalt. Select raw materials have been formulated to make PowrLap a premium product. PowrLap provides superior elastic performance against thermal shock, the daily expansion and contraction of a roof caused by temperature changes. In addition, the sun's UV rays attack the roof membrane making it brittle and weak, inducing membrane ruptures during thermal shock cycles. PowrLap is your best defense against these attacks. With PowrLap your roofing and waterproofing installations will perform much longer. PowrLap is asbestos free.

SPECIFICATIONS: F110 PowrLap exceeds the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D 3019, Type 3. Maximum VOC is 300 grams per liter.
